Side-oats Grama is a garden favorite, forming robust clumps with many seed stems in late summer. The seeds have bits of red pollen that add bright color to an other wise green and tan plant.

Design Tips

One of the bushier short prairie grasses, with lots of seed stems. Works well in gardens that are a mix of mostly Prairie Dropseed and various sedges, with a little Side-Oats Grama scattered throughout.
