What are plugs? Plugs are plants grown in 72-cell trays; each soil plug is 1.6” wide x 3.2” deep. They are a great option for planting large gardens. We plant all of our own projects with plugs.
Blanket Flower has dozens of bright red, orange, and yellow flowers. It has a long bloom period that compliments other flowers during the season. Blanket Flower is a fast, vigorous native plant that forms a short mound of flowers.

Design Tips
Blanket flower grows and flowers very fast, adding bright patterns of color in new gardens. Blanket Flower (Gaillardia aristata) can be short-lived but is worth the initial show. It often persists by spreading seed, but the new plants often aren’t as big as the originals.
Note: Like most Blanket Flowers in the nursery trade, this is likely a hybrid Gaillardia x grandiflora.
