Blue Grama Grass is extremely valuable for areas where the shortest plants are needed–such as next to borders and sidewalks, where even the other short grasses are not short enough. Blue Grama Grass (Bouteloua gracilis) is one of the last plants to come out of dormancy in the spring, giving short spring flowers a chance to bloom unobstructed.
