What are plugs? Plugs are plants grown in 72-cell trays; each soil plug is 1.6” wide x 3.2” deep. They are a great option for planting large gardens. We plant all of our own projects with plugs.

Lance Leaf Coreopsis is a beautiful native flower that with big blooms the first year it’s planted, unlike many natives that take 2 years to bloom. It also has a long bloom period, blooming for several months in summer. It is often short-lived, dying out after a few years, but it spreads readily by seed to persist in gardens. It has big yellow flowers that complement orange or pink summer blooming flowers such as Butterfly Milkweed and the Coneflowers.
