This Garden Kit includes 72 plants, a garden design, and instructions for planting and maintenance. The design and instructions are available here. We recommend reading the instructions page before purchasing.
The Monarch Mania Garden Kit has one purpose—to attract a MASSIVE amount of monarchs to your yard. This garden is a front-yard jaw dropper—neighbors and walkers will be shocked at how many monarchs are in your yard. They’ll ask, “Did you plant milkweed?” and then you’ll have to explain, “Yes, but it’s really the Meadow Blazing Star flowers that are bringing them in, it gives them nectar during their migration south, you should try planting some too…”
This garden has two types of milkweed to support monarch eggs and caterpillars, but the real attraction is the Meadow Blazing Star flowers which attract swarms of monarchs for its nectar in late summer. For some reason monarchs are extremely attracted to Meadow Blazing Star flowers and you can expect monarchs all day, every day from mid-August until early September. This isn’t something you have to wait a few years for, either—they’ll show up in August right when the Blazing Stars start to bloom the first year. You have to see it to believe it!
We also added some Pussytoes, which are a host flower for Painted Lady butterflies, and you can expect a lot of those prolific butterflies in your garden too!
