What are plugs? Plugs are plants grown in 72-cell trays; each soil plug is 1.6” wide x 3.2” deep. They are a great option for planting large gardens. We plant all of our own projects with plugs.
White Wild Indigo starts off tall and lanky with early summer blooms, and then keeps growing leaves throughout the summer to form more of a bushy shape. Strong stems remain standing even during winter, giving it a royal stature throughout the year.

Design Tips
Because White Wild Indigo is tall and top-heavy, plant it individually throughout the garden with grasses or sedges underneath. Like most tall plants, it works best planted individually or in small groups so it can rise above a shorter understory of plants.
